WOLFEBORO — The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension will be presenting the program "Emerald Ash Borer and What it Means for You" at the Great Hall in Wolfeboro Town Hall at 84 S. Main St. in Wolfeboro on May 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Emerald ash borer was first found in New Hampshire in 2013 and has since been confirmed in more than 70 towns and five counties. This exotic insect is widely considered the most destructive forest pest in North America. EAB attacks ash trees and infested trees die within three to five years. It has killed hundreds of millions of ash trees in the eastern United States.
