FRYEBURG, Maine — The Emmy and Peabody award-winning Met Opera Live in HD series presents Verdi’s "Aida" at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center at 18 Bradley St. in Fryeburg, Maine, on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m.

In what should be a highlight of the new season, soprano Anna Netrebko sings her first Met Aida, going toe-to-toe with mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili as Amneris. Nicola Luisotti takes the podium. The estimated run time is three hours, 36 minutes. Light refreshments will be available during intermission.
