Once again it’s that time of year where I start humming one of my favorite Andy William tunes: “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” Rest assured, I am not singing about Christmas. It’s September and I’ll be on vacation for the next 12 days.

An excellent program on scams and identity theft will be presented by the Elder Abuse & Exploitation Office on Monday, Sept. 17, right after lunch. This program is open to the public and we hope you can join us. Unfortunately, I will have to miss this program. My husband and I will be enjoying the delights of St. Johnsbury, Vt., and beautiful downtown Littleton that week so I hope someone is willing to share their notes.
