CHOCORUA — In 2003—more than 20 years ago — the Chocorua Lake Conservancy adopted the 2-mile stretch of Route 16 that starts at Heavenly Hill, where you’ll find the beautiful Chocorua Lake Basin View Lot, and runs north the length of the lake. Chocorua Lake Conservancy volunteers have been keeping that stretch of road clean two or three times a year ever since.

On Sunday, July 2, from 8:45 to 10:30 a.m., join the Chocorua Lake Conservancy for its annual summer “Adopt-a-Highway” trash pickup along Route 16.
