CHATHAM — The Chatham Historical Society will be hosting its third annual bonfire on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m. at its new home, the Chatham Center Schoolhouse at 1061 Main Road (113 B) in Chatham. The society is celebrating the building’s addition to the NH State Register of Historic Places by the NH Division of Historical Resources Council.

“We are pleased to be preserving this schoolhouse for our Town and our State,” said Jeanne Eastman, president of the society. “A lot has happened here, as we heard at our Chatham School Reunion last summer.”
