Viola J. (Dicenzo) Sharp, 96, of Chocorua, N.H., beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away in her home on June 5, 2024, after a long and joyful life.

Bom in Lawrence, Mass., on Aug. 19, 1927, she married her late husband Henry Sharp on Dec. 23, 1947, after exchanging letters to cheer Henry up while he was deployed overseas during World War I. The matriarch to a large family, Viola is remembered for her warmth, humor, and excellent culinary skills.
