Born in 1966 to Susan and William Proctor of Conway, N.H., Louise Adams Proctor died peacefully after a brief illness on Sept. 14, 2025.

She grew up in Conway and graduated from Kennett High School. Then she attended the University of New Hampshire. Her study of horticulture became a large part of her life, leading to her love of flowers, particularly orchids, as well as gardening.
