OSSIPEE — A suspected drug dealer who allegedly caused an overdose in Effingham and was later allegedly caught with a significant amount of drugs in Conway was ordered held without bail by a Carroll County Superior Court judge on Friday.
John Parsons, 33, of Freedom, was indicted in August on charges of violation of the Controlled Drug Act; Sale, Death Resulting, for an alleged crime that took place in Effingham on March 25. Other court documents identify the victim as Kristina Buswell, 30. Related to this, he was also indicted on a charge of falsifying physical evidence for allegedly erasing Facebook messages between the two of them.
