FRYEBURG, Maine — A behind-the-scenes look at racehorse ownership will be available for the first time at the Fryeburg Fair this year, as local equine expert Kim Pike will be sharing his decades of experience with up to 10 participants in a free seminar.

The seminar will take place Friday, Oct. 3, at noon. Participants will not only learn what it's like to own a racehorse but will also get a free pass to the races, a private tour of the backstretch and a chance to meet the harness racing trainers and drivers and cheer for their"designated horse for the day."
