CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services announced last week that COVID-19 vaccines are now available for children as young as 6 months of age.

The Centers for Disease Control’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices unanimously voted June 18 to recommend both the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for infants and younger children after reviewing data showing that both vaccines are safe and effective.
