Cancer is the second most common cause of death, accounting for over 600,000 fatalities in the United States every year. 

While not all forms of cancer are easily detected, there are some that have screening tests to help us. Different organizations have various screening protocols but many health-care providers rely primarily on the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force, or USPSTF, guidelines when surveying for cancer.
