CONWAY — Last summer, Bryce Terry of Conway raised $12,340 for the oncology department at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in his first self-started solo triathlon.

The son of Jim and Heather Terry of Conway, Bryce, 22, hopes to equal or surpass that total when he ventures out on Friday in his newly christened “Beyond the Summit” tri-event, this time joined by five or six of his fellow Skidmore College varsity hockey teammates along with a few family members and friends.
