CONWAY — The Kennett High field hockey team played well against longtime rivals Berlin on Saturday morning, but it was the girls from the other side of Pinkham Notch who left town celebrating after a 2-0 win before a good-sized crowd at Centola Field on homecoming.
The win by the Mountaineers (8-4-1, and in sixth in Division III) was the second in seven days over the Eagles. Berlin blanked KHS 3-0 on Sept. 26, which was homecoming for the Mounties.
