CONWAY — A new old friend reappeared (via flatbed) at the North Conway train station Tuesday afternoon as the 1920s vintage private car of the former president of the Maine Central arrived after being transported from Ashland for restoration.

The “old friend” was a vintage 1924 rail car that once saw service in this area by presidents of the Maine Central Railroad no less.
