CONCORD — April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Office of the Child Advocate released a statement Wednesday calling on all New Hampshire residents to be watchful for signs of child abuse and neglect in their communities.

Moira O’Neill, director of the office, noted that the purpose of a month devoted to preventing child abuse has never been more important than it is in the time of COVID-19 and Stay at Home Orders.
