BARTLETT — "It’s worth taking a look" was voters' consensus at the annual Bartlett School Meeting on March 3, when they approved a warrant article to explore leaving SAU 9 and creating their own SAU.
Former Bartlett School Board member Scott Grant told the crowd the town can educate its students better and more cheaply by having its own school administrative unit. He petitioned Article 12 that sought voter approval to “terminate SAU 9 as the administrative unit on June 30, 2028. Bartlett can then join another SAU or form its own administrative unit.”
