Obituary: Sharon Thurston

Sharon Thurston, a lifetime resident of the Mount Washington Valley, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, surrounded by her dedicated and loving husband Jimmy, her sons, sister Carol, and her daughter-in-law Lori, on March 4 at Maine Medical Center.

Sharon was beautiful, kind, graceful and hardworking. When she looked at you with that twinkle in her eye you instantly felt loved and happy. She was born at Memorial Hospital on Dec 4, 1945, to Charles and Greta Locke of Redstone. She graduated from Kennett High School in 1964 and began working in the Valley, bringing joy to everyone she worked with, especially at the old North Conway Bank.
