CONWAY — A local activist group is planning a peaceful protest Sunday against the U.S. military campaign in Iran on Sunday, March 8, from 4-6 p.m. March 8 at the four-corners intersection in Conway Village.

The protest is on the same day as a "No War on Iran" rally being planned by the NH Peace Action from 1-2 p.m. at City Plaza in downtown Concord, calling for an immediate end to U.S. involvement in escalating military attacks on Iran. NH Peace Action is urging members of Congress to uphold their constitutional authority over war powers and to demand an immediate halt to military action. NHPA emphasizes that diplomacy, not bombing, offers the only sustainable path to de-escalation and regional security.
