TAMWORTH — On Aug. 22, at 7 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Eastern Slopes will present a free community evening celebrating “Truth-Telling in a Turbulent Time” with discussion, music and storytelling.

Artist Robert Shetterly, renowned for his portrait series “Americans Who Tell the Truth,” will speak at the event, and some of his original portraits will be on display.
