Fryeburg Academy's all-school musical, "How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying," opens Friday, Nov. 18, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Eastern Slope Playhouse in North Conway Village.Last month's loss of the Gibson Gymnasium hit the Fryeburg Academy arts department hard. The gym had served as the venue for the all-school musical, the Holiday Candlelight concert, the all-school play and the spring Fine Arts Festival. Although musical practice was well underway at the time of the fire, there was concern that the show might not happen. Thankfully, trustees of the Eastern Slope Playhouse generously offered their space within 24 hours of the fire."How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" will feature a cast and crew of 40-plus students. Sophomores Emily Holden as Rosemary and Robert Crowson as Finch lead the cast in this hilarious musical comedy about a con artist who works his way up the corporate ladder from window washer to chairman of the board.Performance times are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, at 7:30 p.m., and a Sunday matinee on Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. Advance ticket sales will begin on Monday, Nov. 14.
