Catherine M. Long, 79, of Bartlett. died May 13, 2008 at the The Memorial Hospital in North Conway.Born in Boston, Mass., the daughter of William and Mary (Kennedy) Parker, she lived in Wenham, Mass., prior to moving to Bartlett in 1998.The family includes: three daughters, Lizabeth M. Perry and her husband Chris of Newfields, N.H., Catherine T. Long of Haverhill, Mass., and Helen L. Long and her companion Mike Brandzel of Portsmouth, N.H.; three sons, Dennis J. Long of Pebble Beach, Calif., David M. Long of Nahant, Mass., and Charles E. Long of Littleton, N.H.; five grandchildren; two brothers, John Parker of Quincy, Mass., and Mike Parker of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; three sisters, Helen Colahan of Beverly, Mass., Mary Sampson of Quincy, Mass., and Ann Ciovacco of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.A Mass will be held Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mountains Church in North Conway. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the United Way of the Greater Seacoast, 71 International Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801, or to Monterey Bay Sanctuary Foundation, Catherine M. Long Memorial Fund, 299 Foam Street, Suite D, Monterey, CA 93940.The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
