Bernadeen J. Foley passed away at the age of 93, on Nov.23, 2009, at Mineral Springs of North Conway. She was a resident there for a short time, while she received skilled nursing care and rehabilitative services.

Bernadeen was born Jan. 9, 1916 in Fort Kent, Maine, where she grew up. In 1936, she graduated from the teacher training program at MTS in Fort Kent. She always loved being around children, and she enjoyed the years in which she taught in local elementary schools. During that time, she married Lionel Daigle and her daughter Frances was born.
