CONWAY — At the conclusion of the winter business meeting of the Valley Originals, an independent local restaurant group, held Jan. 9, representatives of the 25-member organization distributed funds to four local non-profits.

Receiving checks for $2,000 were Mt. Washington Valley Habitat for Humanity, represented by board members Anthony Ruddy and Kerry MacDougall, and Carroll County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, represented by Executive Director Mary Carey Seavey, who is also the chair of the Conway Board of Selectmen.
