“The holidays are a time for happiness and giving, but they can also present safety hazards and rack up expenses,” says Fryeburg/North Conway State Farm agent Diane Reo.

“For instance, candle-related fires cause an average of 150 deaths and $385 million in property damage each holiday season,” she added.
