CONWAY — A lawyer for Leavitt's Country Bakery, which is in federal court after suing the town regarding its sign ordinance, opposes a public art ordinance proposed by the planning board, which residents will vote on April 9.

The new public art ordinance is proposed with Article 19. According to the text of the article, it "addresses the installation of murals and also permits other art visible to the public on commercial and public property such as sculptures, street art, or other types of permanent art work."
