CONWAY — With energy costs on the forefront of many people's minds as winter approaches, the Tin Mountain Conservation Center has teamed up with Window Dressers, a non-profit based out of Rockland, Maine, for their second annual community build, bringing together volunteers to construct reusable window inserts to conserve heat and reduce energy bills.

According to Tin Mountain Program Director Nora Dufilho, around 90 volunteers come together over the course of four days to build 209 pine frame insulation inserts for 22 homeowners, many of whom are seniors or low-income, plus one local church in the Mount Washington Valley.
