RadioShack opens new store in North Conway

RadioShack Corporation announced it will host a grand opening event May 16-18 at its newest store, located at 1500 White Mountain Highway in the Settler's Crossing Shopping Center. During the event, which runs all weekend, RadioShack will feature a 10 percent discount on selected merchandise, and customers will have a chance to win their choice of one of the following prize packages including an EX-S10 10MP digital camera, 4GB SD card and $100 RadioShack Gift Card; a 40GB Sony PS3 Gaming System and $100 RadioShack Gift Card; or a 16GB iPod Touch and $100 RadioShack Gift Card. The new location replaces the former Conway RadioShack located in the Conway Outlet Center at 234 White Mountain Highway. In all, there are 31 company-operated RadioShack stores in New Hampshire. Nationwide RadioShack operates almost 6,000 company and dealer stores.The new 2,500 square foot store features RadioShacks latest contemporary design offering warm, inviting colors, an intuitive customer-friendly layout, enhanced signage, better hands-on product displays, clearer sight lines for ease of shopping from the front to back of the store, and enhanced check-out areas for quick hassle-free transactions.The store design also allows customers the ability to experience expanded RadioShack offerings of such new products as global positioning system devices (GPS), audio/video systems, digital converter boxes, digital imaging devices, portable digital music players and accessories, wireless phones and plans from Unicel, wireless accessories such as Bluetooth headsets, satellite radio, weather alert radios, computers and computer accessories, a complete line up of battery offerings including rechargeable and specialty batteries, gaming consoles, gaming accessories and popular gaming titles, flat panel LCD TVs and HDTV accessories.Were constantly adjusting our store locations to best serve the needs of local customers, and in the process were continually working to upgrade our store shopping environment to ensure customers enjoy the experience and easily find the best and latest solutions to their consumer electronics needs, said District Manager Doug Gootee.
