TAMWORTH — “Into the Breeches,” the third show in The Barnstormers Theatre’s 94th season, which opened Thursday, July 25, with daily performance (except Monday) through Aug. 3, is a funny and moving tribute to the power of the arts.
Set in 1942, “Into the Breeches” centers on the Oberon Playhouse, a theater in Portsmouth that is about to close for the season as all its male actors and director are fighting in World War II.
