It is October, a time for everyone to embrace their inner ghouls and goblins in anticipation of All Hallows’ Eve.

To do my part, I wanted to find some B-movies to enjoy this Halloween. I headed my browser over to Netflix to find that, conveniently enough, they have a Halloween link right on their main bar. As I browsed, I saw dozens of newer horror films, many of which looked quite good, but I was hoping for some cheesy films from the 1970s or 1980s. There were none.

Evilspeak

Clint Howard stars as a dweeb who gains satanic powers from his computer in 1981's "Evilspeak," which is available for free with subscription to Amazon Prime. (COURTESY OF SHOUT FACTORY)

TerrorVision

The cheesy 1980s B-movie "TerrorVision," which features an alien transmitted into a suburban home via a television signal, features a killer theme song by The Fibonaccis. (COURTESY OF SHOUT FACTORY)
