CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ basketball closed the book on 2025 by compiling a three-game winning streak to open the season. The Eagles hope to carry that momentum into the New Year, and new head coach Bo Noung has the hometown flock sharing the basketball and playing some of the best defense in Division II.

Noung, who guided the Kennett junior varsity team the past three years, takes over the varsity squad after Jack Loynd announced his retirement last spring. Loynd, who coached the Eagles over two different stints, including the past 10 years, led the hometown flock to more than 200 victories, including its last Final Four appearance in 1998.
