FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy softball team closed the regular season in style and was rewarded for its effort. The Raiders rattled off impressive wins in its final four games which earned them the opportunity to host a preliminary round playoff game.
FA (8-8), the No. 9 seeds, was scheduled to host No. 9 Wells (10-6) on Monday, but the contest was pushed back a day to Tuesday (4 p.m.) due to rain.
