FRYEBURG — In the Sassi Memorial Nordic ski races at Black Mountain in Rumford on Saturday, the Fryeburg Academy girls’ cross-country ski team finished seventh of 15 teams and the boys were 11th of 24.

In the largest race of the season, an open invitational with teams representing all classes and divisions, Coach John Weston was "very pleased with our results at a big stage to perform on."
