CONWAY —The Kennett High boys’ basketball team pushed its record back above .500 on Monday night, and, boy did the Eagles do it in thrilling fashion. Junior tri-captain Justin Olson hit a 15-foot jump shot at the buzzer in overtime to beat visiting Timberlane 60-59, sending the hometown fans into a frenzied celebration.

“Justin made me look good,” Jack Loynd, Eagles’ head coach, said, smiling after calling the winning play. “It’s not the first time he’s hit a game-winner for us. He’s a clutch player.”
