Bus crash

TAMWORTH — There were no apparent injuries when an elderly woman smashed her SUV into a bus carrying 25 federal inmates on their way to Berlin, said Police Chief Dana Littlefield Thursday afternoon. 

The call came in around 11:16 a.m. Thursday. Littlefield said an 81-year old woman driving a Honda CR-V was trying to exit the Chocorua Post Office, which is opposite the Chocorua dam on Route 16, and didn't see the bus.
