CONWAY — Selectmen Tuesday named Victoria Blake to join them on the board, replacing Mary Carey Seavey, who resigned last month.

Blake, 52, was the selectmen’s top choice of seven candidates to replace Seavey who stepped down last month. The others were former selectman Jac Cuddy, state Rep. Steve Woodcock, North Conway Community Center Executive Director Phil Ouellette, Intervale resident Frank Wolfe, businessman Robert Nelson and Paul Jacobsen. In May, selectmen chose Carl Thibodeau to replace John Colbath, who also stepped down.
