FRYEBURG — Six Raiders, two longtime contributors and the first team ever make up the 10th class to be inducted into the Fryeburg Academy Hall of Excellence in a ceremony to take place during Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 28, highlighting two days of activities at the academy.

The group includes Kenneth “Tinker” Kiesman, Class of 1965; Brian Smith, Class of ’65; Michael Hill, Class of ’79; Macdara Nash, Class of ’84; Alice Herrera LaFavour (Alden), Class of 2001; Katie Shorey, Class of ’06; the 1989 Girls Class B State Championship Soccer team; and William Housum and Clarence Walker, who are being recognized as significant supporters.
