CONWAY — This was not the season the Kennett High softball team was hoping for. The Eagles came into the spring with playoff aspirations, but Mother Nature had other ideas.
The hometown flock dealt with more rainouts than any other team in Division II and ended up having to play its final seven games over 13 days. Throw in an ankle injury to starting pitcher sophomore Makenna Noyes, and the cards were stacked against the birds of prey.
