FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy softball team closed out the regular season with an offensive explosion and hopes to carry that momentum into a deep playoff run.

The No.10-seeded Raiders are scheduled to travel to Rumford, Maine, to play No. 7 Mountain Valley (10-6) in the preliminary round of the Class B South Tournament on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
