CONWAY — The Kennett High ice hockey team may be outshooting its opponents this season, and while you can’t score if you don’t shoot, it’s goals that count — that’s an area where the well has been dry for the Eagles of late.

Kennett has lit the lamp just once in its previous three games, dating back to the annual Peter Hall Christmas Classic over the holiday break. The Eagles fell 5-0 to eventual tourney champs John Stark-Hopkinton on Dec. 27. They closed out the tournament losing 4-1 to Carroll County rival Kingswood in the third-place game.
