CONWAY — It’s been a tale of two seasons for the Kennett High boys’ tennis team. The Eagles got off to a 4-2 start, but then came almost two weeks of rain, April vacation and led to a scheduling backlog and the hometown flock having to play seven matches in 10 days.

Jason Cicero’s troops lost the first three of those matches by 5-4 scores and then dropped the final four matches to end the regular season on a seven-match skid, but with the Division II playoffs starting this week, the team would like nothing more to write a successful ending to this season.
