CONWAY — The Kennett High girls’ basketball team closed the book on the 2025-26 season last week. The rebuilding Eagles — the youngest team in Division II, if not the entire state — 16 girls participated in the program this winter, and 10 of them were freshmen — gave playoff-bound Laconia all it could handle on Thursday before falling 34-25, and fell 38-25 on the road in Peterborough to ConVal on Friday.
The Eagles finished their season 1-17 in league play and 2-19 overall counting the annual Mike Lee Holiday Hoop Bash Christmas tournament.
