CONWAY — How has social media changed the music industry, and music itself? At 1 p.m. on Friday, Sara Demos, multi-media artist, farmer, and Mountain Top board member, presents “Trending,” which will explore this and other aspects of the role of social media in music (and vice-versa). Hear how composers and musicians have adjusted to the new online world, and how it has changed what they write and play.
Demos has worked in electronic multi-media for the last several years, using specialized computer software to translate a variety of music and other sounds into visual waveforms. She also spends time examining trends and changes in music, especially in the electronic music arena.
