FREEDOM — Freedom’s new police chief was sworn in Wednesday afternoon by the town clerk.

Rich LaFerriere was sworn in at the selectmen’s meeting room at the town office on Thursday. LaFerriere, 41, replaces Jamie Mullen, who retired.
