CONWAY — If you like defense, you’ll like the 2019-20 Kennett High girls’ basketball team. The Eagles lost a bucketload of offense to graduation and injury, but Coach Larry Meader said this version of the hometown flock is more than willing to play shutdown defense.

The Eagles are scheduled to tipoff the regular season at home against Spaulding High School on Friday following the dedication of the Peter Ames Gymnasium, which is slated to take place at approximately 6:15 p.m., just after the junior varsity game.
