CONWAY — Fans got their money’s worth on Friday night at the Nest when both the varsity and JV games between visiting Sanborn and the Kennett High boys’ basketball team went to double-overtime. In each contest, the Eagles emerged victoriously. After Thomas Stapinski’s troops needed two extra periods to settle their contest with the Indians, the Kennett varsity won an exciting contest 82-77.
Jack Loynd’s squad improved to 6-5 on the season and moved into 11th place in the Division II league standings. Sanborn, which has a deceiving record, fell to 2-10 and sits in 19th.
