CONWAY — You want to be playing your best at the end of the season and that’s exactly what the Kennett High boys’ tennis team is doing. The Eagles rattled off their fifth straight win on Monday with an 8-1 dismantling of Bow on Senior Day at the Jon C. Judge Tennis Park on the campus of KHS. The win clinched a playoff berth for the Eagles and kept them in the hunt for a possible home postseason match.

KHS, which was on the road at Berlin (0-12 in Division III) on Tuesday (results not known as of press time), improved to 9-3 in Division II play with Monday’s win. The hometown flock sits fifth in the standings behind only Hollis-Brookline, 11-0; Portsmouth, 10-1; Souhegan, 9-1, and Windham, 7-1.
