CONWAY — This wasn’t the season the season members of the Kennett High football team or their fans envisioned last June. With the most returning All-State players of any team in Division 2, the Eagles had lofty hopes, and rightfully so.

One of the beauties of sports, is you never know what can happen, and that can also be one of the heartaches. Kennett has been hit with more than its share of injuries this season. On Friday, the Eagles were without five projected starters in their game with Gilford -Belmont and a host of players were less than 100 percent.
