FRYEBURG — For the third straight year, the Fryeburg Academy boys' soccer team will host a Class B South playoff match. The Raiders, who became the first team to secure a postseason victory at Atwood Stadium in 2022, are the No. 9 seed and are set to face No. 8 Poland on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
The Knights (6-8), making their playoff debut, are a familiar opponent for the Raiders (7-6-1). Fryeburg won both regular-season matchups, defeating Poland 5-0 in Fryeburg on Sept. 7 and, more crucially, 3-0 in Poland in the season finale on Tuesday.
