MANCHESTER — The Kennett High boys’ basketball team executed the perfect game plan on Tuesday night as the No. 12 Eagles went on the road and scored 41-33 upset of No. 5 Manchester West in the opening round of the Division II tournament.

Coach Jack Loynd stressed the importance of protecting the basketball; not engaging in an uptempo high-scoring affair with the Blue Knights; winning the rebounding battle; and valuing every offensive possession.
