CONWAY — As weeks go, no one had a better week than the Kennett High field hockey team. The Eagles went a perfect 3-0 last week at home. The hometown flock avenged an earlier in the season loss; beat the last undefeated team in Division II; and every forward scored in a romp. The week gave KHS and its opponents proof that there are legitimate title contenders in Conway.
Kennett opened the week by beating Berlin 2-1 last Tuesday at Centola Field to earn a regular-season split with the Mountaineers, who beat the Eagles 1-0 in Berlin on Sept. 12.
